I have purchased from Mayors for many years, they have ALWAYS been fair and professional.

"I think I would rather just pay a grey market premium and get the watch on my wrist the next day (PS: I’ve owned this watch twice via grey and will most likely go for round 3)". If this is your M/O then go to a grey market dealer, don't complain about it!!! I am sure the AD was rather sell to someone who will appreciate the piece and not flip it.

I will disagree with you again, their inventory is not "rubbish".

What is all this about?

Buying Hulk 2x from a grey and "flipping" it is either losing money, breaking even, or making a cup of coffee off of it? Why do that?

There are much simpler ways to burn money if that's your thing. Too much effort flipping for a loss...

Also, what did you expect Mayors to do for you and why?

Got on the list for a Hulk on 1/28 and got a call yesterday 2/28 saying my watch was in.
AD said one year waiting list and it took them 30 days to provide.
By the way, I have never purchased anything from them.
Picking up the watch tomorrow 🤢

Our forum is becoming like the movie “Groundhog Day” It’s the same topics every day- poor poor me bc the AD wasn’t nice, the AD told me the BLNR is being discontinued, etc etc.... Bill Murray

I still don’t agree with you about a post from 2016 regarding people who freakin pamper kids, trust fund kids, entitled kids, buying their kids cars and Rolex’ and shit in high school ...

But I certainly agree with your post above. It’s mind numbing reading the same recycled threads about people complaining about their Ad experience. It’s like 2-3 posts a day of that garbage. So good call out bro.

Not complaining, simply commenting. By placing my name on the list I realize it’s a formality and a waste of time. I will purchase from a trusted seller. And yes, you would have to be an idiot to actually try to tell me the AD stock is not rubbish.

Assuming they have some Rolex in stock, then they don’t have rubbish. My wife gifted me a datejust recently. Its not a highly coveted steel sports model with a burple bezel. It’s also not rubbish.

When most people state they have "owned" it is a reasonable assumption that they were sold...aka flipped.

So I apologize...clearly you either gifted them , lost them, or just threw them both away.

All pretty much standard operating procedure. In my opinion a complete waste of time. IMHO the sales women either lied or is highly misinformed. Called Mayors at UTC Mall literally seconds after Pepsi was announced. Left a message as they were closed. Called again the moment the store opened to verify they got my message.

Still waiting on call.

You be the judge about what she said. Perhaps call her and let her know the truth, so she is better aware of Mayors 'policy'.

FYI: Have purchased two Rolex watches at full MSRP from Mayors, so am a repeat customer.

Really confused regarding your post, Steven. What is Op supposed to do with this information and how does it refute what the salesperson stated? What truth is op supposed to share if he is also to judge what was said over the phone?

Yes, I tossed them all in the trash. This forum sucks. I posted something that I thought was interesting regarding the AD business practice and it’s once again been nothing but a regret. In reference to the individual who seems to take issue with me purchasing the same watch multiple times, thanks for your productive comments. I will now be “read only” on this POS.

It's actually a great forum that lately has been inundated with negative AD threads and I think you hit a bad time to complain about a non-issue.

One good thing about buying from Mayors is that they offer an additional 5-year warranty on Rolex.

Am simply letting the original poster know the truth versus the 'policy' that was stated on the phone. Perhaps she could help the misinformed salesperson at Mayors, as obviously the sales person is not trained properly. If there was a master list, and I called literally a second or three after the watch was announced, am sure I would have one by now. Perhaps Mayer's will allow a forensic accountant, and one of my ex-girlfriends is an excellent forensic accountant, to go over their books if they want to prove me wrong.

Galleria in Fort Lauderdale, I actually worked there around the late 80s. I remember selling Brooke Shields a portable Walkman, hanging out with U2 who happened to be walking through the mall, a bunch of other really fun stuff back then. Was a truly amazing Mall with excellent stores. Of course this is back when The Sharper Image was a hot store if that helps anybody know the time frame.

Did you see her fill out a form with your name on it, reference, purchasing history etc? If not, you got played by this Mayors location.

I dont get "just go grey" thing. Its a cycle. If we keep buying from grey for brand new watches. When will it stop? U want to buy grey for New watches over msrp for the rest of ur life ?

The solution is to break the cycle. Once ppl stop buying from grey. Grey stop buying from rolex AD.

At least that's the theory no?

Walked into JR Dunn on 10/23/17 looking for a used sub Date and walked out with a brand new BLNR. They offered me a used sub date, a new Subc Date and the BLNR. One month later the SS shortage was in full swing. I still can’t believe my luck to this day.

What are you complaining about ? you sound capricious having run by the watch twice via grey and now blasting a big AD. Why didn´t you keep the darn watch one of those two times ?
