Watches on WKRP tv show

One of my favorite tv shows was WKRP. I watched it when it first came out.
Recently I have been watching it again on MeTV.
I always noticed the watch Johnny Fever wore, it looks like a blue face Rolex Datejust. Sometimes it looks like Les Nessman is sporting a Rolex, a day date. The problem is that the picture is not in high def, actually it's less less than std def and it's hard to tell. Does anyone have a clue as to if these were indeed Rolex watch wearers?

Damn, I missed it.

I was always distracted by watching what Loni Anderson was wearing.

Count me in as another Bailey Quarters fan here. She had a wholesomeness in a “girl next door” sort of way. Unfortunately I never had neighbors like that!

Whew...I’m not the only one!! I’ve been watching WKRP reruns for the past few months also! I’ll pay closer attention to the watches!

Great shows. Maybe it would be fun to see some reruns of it. Is it on Netflix or Hulu or somewhere else?

x2

"As God as my witness, I thought turkeys could fly". I almost pee'd myself when that episode first aired.

Like it seems many on this board I was too enamored with Bailey to notice any watches. Great show but reruns aren't quite the same without original music.

Bailey Trivia: She was married to James Brolin.
This was after he was married to Josh's mother and before the current one.
