Hey all. I’ve had my new presage for about a week now. On the 1:00 indice there’s a little blemish. Would you guys just live with it for what was a $1600 watch after discount. I mean, I can’t expect Grand Seiko finishing for that price right? What r your thoughts. See pic.

I'd say if you're not happy with it, plead your case and see what the retailer tells you. Where did you buy it, and more importantly, what's their return policy (if that blemish is unacceptable to you)?

I think it would be worth asking your AD Mike, if you explain to them that you don't want to return the watch but wonder the chance of a repair or replacement.

These things are magnified by the powerful photography tools these days, my old and oft, tired eyes wouldn't probably notice it in day to day use.

Possibly consider sending them an e mail with the pic as an attachment, see what they say.

thanks Dave, yeah, I'll send a text. I'm kinda thinking though just live with it. If it was a 5k+ grand seiko I think I'd feel differently, but it's real small. (though I can see it with normal sight)

I returned *two* of them for fuzz on the dial. Did not get a third.

Yea...man, I’ve learned to live with minor imperfections...and I really don’t look through a loop very often...so that helps! But I’m wearing mine today too.

Nice watch. See what the AD says. I could live with it.
