Does the Yellow Gold Sub come in Smurf blue

Just curious how it would look?

Yes, the first yellow gold ceramics had the Smurf blue dial.
Personally I am not a fan, the Sunburst is the bomb. But to each his own.
You would have to source one, perhaps from a seller here as Smurf dials on YG Subs have been discontinued in favor of the darker sunburst.

Sunburst dial for 116613/18LB was introduced at Basel 2013.

I have owned both and currently have the sunburst dial. In looking at the two the sunburst is hands down the better looking of the two in my opinion.

I've had them both and like them both. I think Rolex made the right decision by dropping the flat blue for the sunburst on the YG line.

I think the sunburst really pops with the YG and the flat blue works just as well on the WG. YG needs the brighter dial and WG the more subdued blue.

Just my personal opinion.

I almost forgot that I posted this. I am so happy with the Smurf Blue on yellow gold. I have gotten a few comments on it already. The lady in the elevator said how nice it looked and asked if it was a Rolex. She then tells me she'd like to get her husband one.

But how funny that I finally got the one, the illusive Yellow Gold Smurf!
