Not to worry.

The 458 will always be the most beautiful of the line up. It’s an instant classic.

But yeah all the new Ferrari cars are Xbox on wheels. Give me an F40, the last of Ferrari's true driver's car imho. Then again many Ferrari buyers need Xbox, because driving talent seems to be optional for many buyers :(
The F40 was the pinnacle of Ferrari design as far as I’m concerned. I still remember the first (and only) time I saw one driving on the road. My head turned so fast my neck damn near snapped right off. What a glorious car.

This new model is beautiful, though. Way better than anything from Lambo.

I actually preferred the F50, with that superb n/a V12. Both fantastic cars though. Interesting that turbocharging is so decried these days, but that Ferrari's arguably most iconic car was twin-turbocharged. This clip sums it all up nicely...

Looks like the consensus right now on the Ferrari Forums and car forums that the 458 will hold and have an increase again in resale. It seems that as Ferrari keeps going the turbo way, the NA market dries up more and prices are increasing.

Yes....I was keeping up all day yesterday on Ferrari Chat. Some very interesting discussions. My 458 isn’t going anywhere :)

They have incredible designers. They're the best looking of the exotics IMO.

I agree.

I really like McLaren too. But if I ever have a choice, it’s an easy answer.

Always loved Ferrarri. Now more than ever.

I also prefer a NA motor. I was speaking strictly about the aesthetics.

Yep, I think that the F355 Berlinetta is the prettiest car they've ever made.

My friend had one of the last Testarossas, before it was developed into the 512 - mighty road presence and such a charismatic engine (flat-12).

My friend with all the cars also has an '88 TR that's been fully restored, so I get to drive that when I'm back home.

I can't afford it, but I keep looking at 599s for sale. There is a guy here in Dallas that I met years ago that has a manual 599. He bought it before the manuals skyrocketed in price. I wonder if he still has it.

Here is my dream Ferrari .... 288 GTO >>>

Looks good but it seems too early to be pushing out the new model.
The 488 is still new and Pista barely dropped.

It’s hard to “open it up” / “drive it like it should be” on most roads ....at least in my neck of the woods. Taking it to the track is about your only option, unless you have a windy or long stretch of road in the middle of the night:)
In Georgia, we have too many deer. Driving fast at night might prevent you from seeing as many cops and other cars, but the deer are out in full force!

Absolutely are! We see so many on the side of the road unfortunately when we’re there. :(

I will have one before I get too old, just not a new one. There are a few in my neighborhood, and I get chills every time I hear that exhaust note. My Porsche is a fantastic car, but a Ferrari is a different beast

Have to agree with you there. Porsche fan through and though (own one and lease another) and still dream of owning a Ferrari one day. Just something special about how they drive/feel/sounds. A Porsche had everything you’ll ever need, but a Ferrari has soul . Mines gonna have to be used too!

Ryan, you are bang on....as per my avatar, that car is incredible and never did I think a Ferrari would be a "that much better" car....until, I bought one which I was dreaming about for years. I bought it sight unseen, about 14 months old and when I drove this car for the first time, it nearly made me cry,. in fact, just starting it and moving it into the garage at home was exilirating. Ferrari is all about passion, excitement and extracting everything fibre of emotion out of your body. Nothing at all compares. Period.
The new F8 seems really interesting though, and all the press videos by Ferrari are all about the new sound it generates as the 488 was a flop to many afficionados in Ferrari for anything emotions related.
