SARB017 Bracelet Choice
I really like the SARB017 to have in the "beater" rotation with my G-Shock and Seiko SKX009J1. I think it's a beautiful watch and a whole lot for the money. It has gone up a little in price but eBay had a 15% off coupon so I got one from Japan with free shipping and paid $398.00. Not too bad for late in the game.
I'm definitely swapping out that hideous strap I'm looking at a Jubilee and would like opinions please. Most of my bracelets are Oyster so I'm definitely going with the Jubilee. I can always come back and swap out for leather or NATO which I have plenty of. But do you guys like the one with the end links, or the straight ends? I'm leaning towards the straight ends as it has a more retro feel to go with the vintage style hands of the Alpinist. Plus it's a little less blingy than the polished end links, and a bit different looking. I don't see many others out there with this style. Plus it's cheaper I'm curious as to your thoughts. Thanks. Straight end. From Watch Clock Parts website. Sorry it's not the Alpinist. Can't find a pic of one with it. End links. From Strap Code website |

I like B, the end links that are flush with the watch.

I think Strapcode makes very nice bracelets for the Alpinist. Check them out and you should be covered there.
