It has been 20 long months since I bought a watch

Yes how did this happen I wonder myself?

For one I was busy working and studying.
For two all the watches I wanted I couldn't get and when I thought hard I really am glad I didnt.
For three I was going to purchase pm but then it was so close to basel.
For four I may have sold something and regretted it.

So one week away from basel let's hope I can purchase something in three months or so. If not I guess I will just wait until the perfect PM presents itself.

Perhaps a useless post but I am sure others have been in this predicament of late. A borderline addition is more palatable at below msrp then at or above.

I’ve got problems.

I seem to be not worthy to receive a SS Daytona from my long-term AD but I wouldn´t call this being on a waitlist.

I'm right there with you, Eliot. Summer 2018 I got my GMT and I'm pretty close to getting a Planet Ocean Chronograph at some point this year or even in the next few months. After this I'm not sure how many more I'll hey because I've sold off a ton of Omega's in the past (4 to be exact).

The Rolex's drought season prohibited me from buying too.

We could see a subc chrono. Would be wild. I would be shocked.

I’ve been the same. Not purchased anything for a few years now. A few life hurdles put a dent in the play funds. Along with not really seeing much within my impulse purchase range that I want. Almost got a 70s Cellini last year. Wish I did now as the price was pretty good but was procrastinating.

Funnily enough the watch I’ve wanted to buy the most lately and I’ve still to pull the trigger is a £20 Casio. Not had one since primary school.

Been about 4 months since my last purchase and 8 months since my purchase before that. However, with current prices of the models I want I don't think I'll be getting anything for awhile.

Similar here. Trying to remember my last purchase. I sold a vintage piece last year, but I think my last purchase was fall 2017. By far the longest I have gone without buying or flipping something in 15 years.

27 months for me, and before that about 380 months. Folks on here buy Rolexes and Pateks the way regular folk buy socks. Except regular folk don't sometimes sell their old socks to fund the purchase of new socks.

All those poor watches just waiting to be yours! Time to stop being selfish and give one (or two?) a good home!

This affliction has very little to do with what is needed.

Your logic is undisputable.

But I don’t know what I’d wear over any of these. As it is, I have a hard time choosing. They are all my favorite.

It is. And it’s awesome. People chastise me for not having it in braveket. But clearly there is a theme with my collection. And this strap and clasp are top notch. Really awesome.
