Need some opinions what to let go
First off, this is not a for sale ad. DONT PM me with offers. This is purely to get the opinions of members.
Gonna sell one of these two. Wifey and I want to do some kitchen stuff. Having a hard time deciding. Having both is awesome but rather have $$ in the bank to do stuff with although we don’t need a kitchen remodel either lol. I can’t figure out which to let go. The LN was my first and gateway into Rolex. It’s very versatile and timeless. The blnr is just cool, will be harder to replace, but arguably not as versatile. I have been selling off my collection cause at the end of the day I only have one wrist, and at work I primarily wear my Seiko’s as wearing a Rolex is a bit much for many of reasons. I am keeping bluesy and my Dssd-blue. I value the forums thoughts. Again do not PM me for offers. I will ignore u I don’t care how ridiculous they are. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I would keep the black one, as the one most true to the original Rolex idea. Purposeful, business-like, a REAL tool watch.
All those colors... I just don't like them. |

Keep the LN. It was your first, it's discontinued, and it is a great complement to your other watches.

They discontinued to LN, it will be harder to get back. Resale on the BLNR will probably be better as well.

I would move the BLNR. Never liked the watch and the LN is a classic.

You could just get rid of the wife and you wouldn't be having these dilemmas.
Just thinking outside the box here. |

Man that’s a tough one! BLNR will give you more cash now. I sold my first Rolex and regret it. Cut the BLNR loose.

Keep saving or sell something else or mortgage the house.

I'd personally keep the BLNR, but it sounds like deep down the LN is the one you want. I'd go with the gut.

I’m still missing my first Rolex, a 16233!!!
I’ve come so close to replacing it numerous times over the last 5 years. Don’t be me. Keep the LN Flip the BLNR. Cook in a beautiful new kitchen |

Sounds like you have more of a connection with the black and both your other keepers have blue. So I vote for the LN but I’m also biased because that’s what’s on my wrost

I’m completely lost, a completely remodeled kitchen is over 100k. Lol. How will this transaction help?

Although you do have a good point. Even a “modest” remodel can push 25-30 without too much effort. OP, dump the Blnr for sure.

If someone offered you 20k and said give me one of the two for it. Which would you release? No thinking just answer!
If you have a gut feeling, then follow it and let that one go. You bought the watches because you liked them, so sell the one that you can live without, not the one you can get extra $$. You’ll regret it if you move one solely based on that decision. Good luck, these dilemmas are brutal. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
