233 Question

I asked this over on Paneristi.com but since they have rules discussing pricing over there, I thought I'd ask you Paneristis over here, what is the story on the 233 discount wise?

I was at the BH Boutique yesterday and I knew it wasn’t even worth asking them. When I got my 111 it was from an AD in Florida and I was given 10% off. I know the 233 is rarer and more sought after, but we are in a recession here so maybe AD's will be willing to deal more.

Can anyone give me an idea on what kind, if any, discount I can expect when buying the 233? (Anyone have a good AD they'd recommend?)

Thanks

I believe a 10%-15% discount on the 233 is where you'd be right now.

I could only get 5% off when I bought mine last October. I am a repeat buyer at this AD too (in total, 5 watches purchased there over the years) and purchased the 233 along with a Tag Link for the wife at the same time. They offered me a 20% discounted on the Tag. The salesman told me they cannot discount much at all on PAMs, which is what I've always heard.

But luxury watches aren't moving like they used to now during the recession. You should be able to do better than I did now.

That's interesting. I mean I guess every AD is different, but considering that the 233 is somewhat more difficult to obtain, it doesn't shock me.

That's what I am thinking. Since I probab;y won't be getting the watch anytime too soon , hopefully that will mean 15% or maybe even 20% in a few months
