How is no one upset for the OP at the hard pull on his credit?!? A refund doesn’t undo that damage. I’d be raising hell if it were me. Forget the problems with buying a luxury item on credit (I’d argue that you’re a fool for paying for something upfront if 0% interest is an option provided you can afford it). A hard inquiry on your credit takes months to go away.

Ok so today...
Finance cancelled (I checked with V12) no further emails or anything after i replied yesterday. I really do not want to do business with them at this stage. My local Goldsmiths and Beaverbrooks both don’t stock Tudor, I have been specifically told that you cannot even transfer within a watch group it has to be purchased from that AD stockist store of the group. The lady in my local store tried and got grief for even trying! Justification is they want specific aftercare and trained staff etc. A few phone calls and I’ve put a deposit down on a GMT with 5-6 month wait for it by that time the dust will hopefully have settled with credit file and things will be back to normal. I’ll have to eat the cost of a flight to England. My local AD said waiting list full, won’t take deposits on a gmt and no finance on that model. So I figured if I’m going to wait a few months I may as well go for the gmt over the black bay blue. So happy ending, but Tudor’s policy is ridiculous imo. |
