42mm explorer 2 vs 15400 AP

Anyone that owns both that can make 2 wristshots on the same kind of angle ?
Any idea which of both wears larger? I own a explorer 42mm but i am interessed in the size of the 15400, the 216570 feels ''just right'' for me...
Hoping for some pics of both watches

Nover owned the EXII but both my Speedy Pro and PO are 42mm. If it’s size you looking for here they are in my 6.75” wrist.

The 41mm AP RO does wear bigger due to the integrated lug design.

I also tried on the EXII and it felt larger on my wrist than the 42mm omegas I own. Maybe it’s also the white dial that usually makes a watch wear larger than black dials?

Yea some claim that The explorer 2 is huge but imo it is just right.
Does it wear smaller on your wrist than the 15400 ???

Overall yes. It’s thicker than the 15400 which wraps and hugs the wrist.

I used to have an Exp2 polar, and now have a 15400. So I don't have pictures side by side, but I have plenty of pictures/wristshots of both on my Instagram.

I have a 7" wrist, and like the fitment of both, although both are on the larger side. With the 15400 being thinner, and the integrated lugs that angle down, I don't think it wears bigger than the Exp2.

I have a really odd sized wrist. Where the watch sits is only 6.25 inches. Fairly small. However, I'm 6'1" and 170lbs with decent size arms. It's just that my forearm tapers down really small. I also have big hands, so larger watches don't really look that big.

What’s critical with integrated lugs like the 15400 is having a flat wrist. The watch will wear better on a smaller but flatter wrist than it would on a larger but rounder wrist.

That perfectly illustrates how the actual wrist size is only part of what matters. The hand / arm / body size all have a big impact on the perceived size of a timepiece on the wrist.

Looks pretty similar there, and was my recollection too, both black dials are more slimming.

Well typically when you look at the top of your wrist it should be wider than when you look at it sideways. I have a flat wrist on top so although my wrist is 6.75” I can wear larger size watches without the lugs protruding out.
