UK members - BLRO wait time?
I got myself on the waiting list...
Ahem, I mean I formally expressed an interest in () 126710 BLRO with my AD today. I am known to them and got the Rolex in my sig plus one for the wife from them. I realise there is no real answer to this question - how long is a piece of string, how important are you (not very) etc etc. However I’m curious as to what the experience is of you guys who are either still waiting or who have picked the watch up regarding timeframes and whether AD’s are getting many of these. Essentially, how long did you wait/have you been waiting?

Morning Sal
I first saw the BLRO at a Basel release party in March of 2018. I told my AD I was interested in adding one in as I was celebrating a milestone and my dad had just undergone successful surgery. As usual, he came through for me and I got the watch in November on the 20th. I guess that’s about 8 months. In the interim I was offered a blue or black SkyD, but they just didn’t work fir me, so I held out. Glad I did. Edit: sorry Canadian here |

I knew it’s gonna be a hot piece no matter what people say here. A SS gmt is what it is. Been waiting since Basel and no firm date when it’s coming. At the moment considering going for the 126719 but my guess is this one would also take a good bit of time to come thru.

I was having a discussion with an AD in the UK about BLROs and was told the waiting times were 3-4y. I have no reason to believe he was making this up as I never expressed a wish to buy one, we were just having a general chat!

I reckon again, that this is going to depend on the city and your AD relationship.

I ordered one from my AD. 24 hours later I got the call. 24 hours after that it was already on my wrist. I have to say my AD always comes through for me but to be fair i have bought over 20 watches over the years from him. It just depends on when they get there delivery and how well known to them you are.

I ordered mine the day of the Basel show and received it at the beginning of June so a few months wait.

I expressed interest with my current AD back in January after making my first purchase there at the end of December. I had it on my wrist just about 2 months later. |

I've spoken with a couple of AD's who say they're getting something like 3-4 per year currently. I've also heard similar stories from many others, so that would be my guess. It also depends on the AD in terms of size, location, etc, but I think somewhere around there is a decent ballpark.
Edit: I should add this is speaking for southern USA AD's only, I have no intel on the UK situation at all. |

Afternoon Sal, I ordered my BLRO straight after Basel. Received it in October. I’m in north east. Well worth the wait

Just a data point from the other side of the pond, I gave a friend who just received his BLRO after THREE WEEKS! No prior purchase history either. Supply seems to be increasing so hopefully everyone will get theirs in less time. Now if your AD is a bundler then you may be waiting a very long time.
