Is the OP RED GRAPE feminine ?

Do you think the Red Grape dial is feminine? I've seen several girls with the 36mm Oyster Perpetual Red Grape and no men. What do you think?

I don't want anyone to be offended. It's a question I ask myself after seeing several girls with Red Grape.

I don't think so. I have the 39mm and it looks great.

I have seen 3 on the wrists of men while traveling-- it's very much a gender-neutral watch.

Ok. It's a coincidence what I've seen.
Thank you

Funny you should ask this. I was at the Astros game last night with a client and he was wearing a grape OP. Looked great, and he’s far from “feminine.”

Is the OP RED GRAPE feminine ?

The only thing I know about Rolex is there is no gender (no matter how much they might try to provide an artificial “men’s” and “women’s” selector on their site).

Giant burly mega man with a 10” wrist? No problem - will wear a vintage DD 36 mm with link extensions and love it.

Man or woman with a 5” wrist? No problem - will throw on a JC SeaDweller or SkyDweller and never think twice “is it too big / wrong gender?”

People want what they want.
That is the only truth.

No way is the watch “ feminine “,,,
I believe the days of dial colours for chaps dials being looked at a certain way are long gone,,

I think it’s a cool watch. I would definitely wear it. Not feminine IMO.

Only if you are insecure about your masculinity.

Speaking in general and not pointed towards the poster or the OP.

Is the OP RED GRAPE feminine ?

I don’t think so. But she does wear it a lot. I’ve worn it

Comparatively to maybe a black sub or GMT I guess it’s color maybe could be more feminine. Doesn’t bother me though. I like it it’s fun watch
This one is 39mm

People tend to forget that Purple is the color of Royalty. It has been worn by Kings and Queens for generations.

No, not feminine. Unless you match the color to your purse.

I love that color and would totally wear it, but what pisses me off about all the other colors besides the black and white dialed versions in the OP39 line, is why in God's name did Rolex chince out on the lume? Why not, as they did on the B&W, give full lume to ALL the indices?
