Skeleton Daytona...
They turned a good looking watch into a monstrosity, at least imo :

Looks like a Tag Heuer Chrono

I think it's quite cool, but:
Having made bad experience with "tampered" with HQ products, I would never buy it. I love Rolex for their reliability, and I feel that the watches integrity is lost/put at a high risk with a stunt like that. But I guess that is not a concern to the buyers of watches like this. :) Kind regards, Oliver |

I think it’s lovely, although I’d never buy it but I’m not the target market.
People with enough money who wouldn’t want a run of the mill Daytona, that’s the market.... |

Have no idea why the Mods moved the post to a Non-Rolex forum, when it's about a Daytona!?

I actually like it.
People here say they don't, but if Rolex offered one like it it would be a hit. If I could get it with a grey discount over the 500LN I would do it definitely. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

This is correct, Rolex won't service it either. When you look at the work that Artisans de Geneve do, if you are into watchmaking you can appreciate the intricate work that they do. It's not just blacking out a watch. It takes intricate labor to achieve this. On the other hand, that specific piece will be owned by people who do not care about waranties, or have two rolexes. They have found a niche looking at the watches they've created. Not to mention sourcing these watches to modify must be a costly ordeal.

Damn that is nice. Incredible. I'm sold. Best part is that it's not as obviously as the 116500. Understated.

If the case no longer has the serial number that it left the Rolex factory with then it is fake watch in my book. If it still retains the serial number and the factory original parts are only modified then it is just a modified factory watch. If the factory parts are replaced with aftermarket parts that say Rolex on them then it is a frankenwatch with fake parts added.

I think the frankenwatch is more accurate than a fake. The Rolex movement and parts are still there.

I don't understand why they take a 116520 and add a ceramic bezel. That's off putting and I take back what I said. The bezel can't be OEM then. Deal breaker.

It's the watch equivalent to Mansory cars. Just because you can doesn't mean you should but someone will buy it.
