So I have never owned a 5 digit sub or any 5 digit for that matter. I have owned a few super case subs and GMTs.

I just picked up a yachtmaster and I love the case size. My question is about the bracelet and older stamped clasp. The new bracelet and clasps are amazing and my only concern is the "cheap" feel of the bracelet I always read about. Never owned one so I cant reference from experience.

How does everyone feel about the hollow center link bracelets?

The old bracelets are fine. Some people even prefer them. But it's true that they weren't the strongest part of the watch, and certainly deserved the update when it finally happened. You'll almost certainly notice the difference over time, but I doubt you'll care much.

YM bracelet is not hollow link but solid instead.

Right I was just meaning potentially picking up a 5 digit in the future. I was referencing the older bracelets.

I have a couple of the 5-digits and while the bracelet isn't as substantial as the newer ones, they wear very nicely. Once on the wrist it doesn't really seem different from the modern ones. Make no mistake, there is something just as special about a 5-digit that you love as a brand new one.

Bracelets on 5-digit watches were used by Rolex for decades; in fact, they are comfortable, durable and relatively inexpensive to repair.

Once on your wrist they are super comfortable. The differences of the 5 digit being “inferior “are more noticeable when you are looking at pictures or handling the watch, on your wrist where the watch should be its hard to tell. The hollow sel dont feel cheap. The updated clasp and its adjustment is really nice though but its not like the 5 digit is garbage.

Imo if these "cheap" bracelets were really an issue... You wouldn't see 50+ year watches that are beat to hell with the bracelet still functional. They don't have a thick clasp and weigh less than the modern bracelets but I think it's built to withstand more than what 99% of us put our watches through.
