Hi everyone, may I check if chrono24 is a reliable website to buy watches? How do you guys ensure authenticity of the watches before you buy them?

I have never used the website for purchasing. I have only used it to get an idea of the pricing of watches. I would recommend trusted sellers from this forum if you are able to find what you are looking for here.

I bought 2 via Chrono24-one from a Grey and one from private! Both good experiences and reliable by escrow payment! 100% satisfied-but yes, black sheeps you find everywhere!

Ok. It’s just that I saw a lot of sellers are selling on the website and wonder if there are really transactions happening.

I've bought 3 watches from there. Two together from Portugal, one from the US and one from London.
No issues and good experiences. The Portugal were hand delivered, the London handled all the paperwork for US Customs and the US one was easy as well. Not saying you can't have issues but Chrono is like the broker/escrow agent and doesn't release the money until you're satisfied in 14 days I think. |

You’re fine as long as you use sellers that have stellar ratings and recommendations.

What happens if you are unsatisfied with the watch within 14 days? Do you return the watch and be refunded? |

Hi - I’m looking to purchase from a Chrono24 ‘Trusted Seller’ but no reviews so I assume they’ve only recently joined or haven’t sold much through the platform. Does anyone know what protection you have if say 6 months after purchase watch goes in for repair on warranty and RSC say item is counterfeit?
