This part is true. He had one on when Terry arrived and barely even took his eyes off it when he said hello to Terry for the first time! It's okay though, Terry did something similar when we were looking at A Lange, and I was holding a grail Patek.

I'll wear it next time we do lunch Dave but since I'm now broke from buying my watch you'll have to treat! How about Manny's?

The green face is excellent, wish they put it in a SS but just wouldn't look the same without the YG. Very nice looking watch, juuuussssstttt a little outside a daily beater for my consideration though.

Congrats! I saw that one yesterday (black dial) when I was picking up my new LV. I tried it on and went into the mesmerized state you described......it is an absolutely gorgeous ingot of gold, no doubt. Congrats on a really special piece! If I could have afforded it!
Best, Chris |

I'm wearing my Omega Seamaster 2254. It's not fair to call this great watch a beater but it gets the tough job of being my "go to" watch when there is a chance of damage from a hazardous activity. I would hate to damage it but not as much as I would one of my Rolex's. Now that I think about it, I need to go buy a cheap Seiko or something cuz it would make me pretty sad to mar it as well. Luckily, I never have..
