I want to want it. But I don't. :(

Black one wins for me. Hopefully this means it'll be easier for me to finally get one. :D

Lots of APs due in second half but sequence unclear. Watch this space!

Not liking the white at all from that pic but love the black which I've seen in person.

Same here. White looks terribly like plastic in that pic. Plus with that blue dial looks like a kids watch.

Bad Pic?

Oof, I agree with those above, this isn’t looking good at all. Instead of making these, why not just expand production on the black ceramic one that more people want to try and meet demand a little better?

I like it a lot. In fact I find it look better than official pictures. I'm waiting mine to come. I used to be skeptical to ceramic and NTPT RMs,my personal experience is once I entered into this new material game, they grown on me by a lot. ATZ white ceramic is technically more advanced than black in AP. Legacy pieces second hand watch price proves the real acceptance very well, such as 15707CB vs 15707CE and especially 26402CB vs 26402CE. People may not understand why there is different level of appreciation. It is just fine.

And good luck to black ceramic lovers. Buy what u guys really like.

I want to like white ceramic. My only problem is that it often looks like plastic. Black ceramic gets away with it because brushed surfaces show better on black than on white.

I'm sorry but the white looks a bit cheap....not sure what it will be like in the metal (or ceramic in this case.... I think I prefer the black ceramic PC

While academic, if I could afford it, I’d go with black.

Does production really need expanding, or get them in the hands of customers? There are over 25 black ceramics grey mkt on Chrono alone.

Watchanish posted about it.

It’s a nice watch but if I only could pick one in that price range. I’d choose something else.

Probably its look plastic shiny since it still has plastic wrap. Im sure it will be good in real life without it, its not brushed ceramic. Will be eye striking for sure and thats what this watch is made for...

Personally I would always choose black!

Fair point. I made a similar one a few weeks back -- at that time, there were 42 for sale on C24. 42 at one point in time on one site when only about 200 have been made! People complain about Rolex and Patek flipping, but it's nothing compared to this. My conspiracy theory is that AP doesn't vet at all when selling, so a bunch of flippers/greys started buying up everything. This would explain the abundance of availability on the secondary market and the fact that non-huge previous customers suddenly can't get anything at all.

white ceramic with the shinny protective film unwrapped..

the blue is very different on the white ceramic perpetual calendar, seems to me that AP specifically developed another shade for the watch.

The white doesn't do it for me, it looks like plastic.... at least in the photos.

Much prefer the black ceramic on versias well. If I am not wrong, white ceramic is just pure white case, no fine brushed line finishing, which for me makes a world of difference.

Looks brushed on the AP website. That would of course be a huge difference.

Seems to be brushed, but I think black works better as the light bouncing off the edges/grain makes it stands out better with a black background as opposed to white.
