Ipod earphones/buds

Need some quality earphone/buds for my Ipod.
The Apple buds are unacceptable.
Thanks.

I take it you want portable phones? Sennheiser MX500 have been around for years and cost roughly £20-25. They have for the last few years won every single award going when it comes to in-ear phones. I've spent a LOT more £ on B&O and come back to the MX500 every time.
Cheap at twice the price IMHO..

Shure E2C's. Best for the money in my opinion. You can get them for around 75 bucks.

I've tried a bunch of them and found at Chip's (SLRdude) recommendation that these sound and fir the best;

http://www.v-moda.com/

They come with three different silicone endpieces to fit different size ears. Launch Mini has a pair also

Agreed! And bass players like to hear that low end and these deliver in spades.

Got these from newegg for $25 and they sound great. Newegg must be out of them for that reason.

I have the Shure earbuds and they really sound great and you do not have to have the volume up to really get a lot out of them.

Don't know about the UE's but the V-Moda buds do a pretyy decent job at noise cancelling.

My experience pairing iPods and NC headphones hasn't been great. I tried hooking up a pair of Sony MDR-NC22s to my iPod Shuffle, and the Sony's circuitry brought out all of the iPod's shortcomings - I was picking out all manner of distortion. I ended up using the iPod with an old pair of Sony MDR-E737s and a MiniDisc Walkman with the NC22s instead.
