Help me choose

Looking for a grail piece. Trying to decode between 2 very different watches. Choosing between 116515LN and 228239 with blue dial. Hope to have both in next 5 years. Will likely buy preowned. Currently, wear 116710BLNR and 1680-8 sub. Any advice is appreciated.

If planning to buy both in the next 5 years what advice do you need?
First buy one then the other.
Problem solved.

Sorry, my question was not explained. The 40 DD is holding value very well preowned but is still a fairly new model. The daytona prices are staying high due to the sport watch craze. Which is the better to buy now for price? Will DD likely start seeing preowned prices fall next few years? I know opinions are guesses but I appreciate your help.
