126710blnr grey prices down 20%?

I’ve been eyeing Batman on jubilee for a while and noticed my local grey is selling one for $17,500. I can probably get it a bit cheaper given I am a local cash buyer and repeat customer. Weren’t these going for $22k just a few months ago? Have they really softened that much? Am I missing something here?

Here in San Francisco I have given up on MSRP. Lots of money in this town and only 1.3 authorized dealers (tourneau has a dinky Rolex hut in the mall). Based on what I’ve been told by both ADs, they expect to get maybe one GMT a month each. I do alright for myself but I’m a well outside the top 25 customers in SF!

I'm sure they were around 22k when they first came out, but they seemed to have settled at around 18-20k brand new and 17k for used. Relative to the Pepsi jubilee, which has been out for over a year now the prices on the BLNR are dropping quicker.

I would imagine they continue to drop. Oddly enough it seems the BLRO has increased in price.

Ahhh, don't give up. Just wait it out with different AD's in other locations in addition to yours. These lists will dry up in our region (west coast) over the next few quarters and grey will slip.

Just be a little more patient if you can. $17k is just not a good price for a $9k watch, man. I know the Valley plays a different game, but money is still money.

The 2 hottest GMT's are incredibly overpriced, much like your housing market. The value simply isn't there.

One GMT per month is a pretty good allocation, many other ADs got 2-4 GMT per year. With these tiny allocations per AD, there's no way the demand can be satisfied.

It's not only the demand but extreme low SS sport allocation creates the hyper demand for these watches.

With a little more time everything will come down to normal prices. 20k made no sense at all. Rolex finish doesn't warrant more than msrp anyway.

I'm not charting the change in prices on a daily basis, sorry

My AD (I’ve bought 3 watches over 3 years, all around 10-12k, so not a big spender) has offered to get me one by year end. Get on a list and be a little patient, grey isn’t necessary on this one any longer.

The Batgirl will eventually settled at slightly below the Batman prices for obvious reasons. It's just not as desirable.

Hard to believe as that pastel red on the BLRO makes the overall look of the bezel appear costume like in appearance, whereas the black/blue is far more subdued.

I’m not convinced.
I think it’ll continue to trade above for the foreseeable future

I will be happy to wager you that the Batman on jubilee will ALWAYS trade higher than the Batman on oyster.

Saw one for 2.5x MRSP advertised as, "this is an exquisite masterpiece " .. Heck,I guess so !!

I find these extremely high prices in the secondary market so common !

Talked to a grey recently.

Was very honest and told me he thought the BLNR wouldn't hold value. They are having a hard time selling it at the price of the BLRO and they do not buy them when offered anymore. Seems like customers are buying to sell with the BLNR and buying to keep with the BLRO. Thus maintaining scarcity.

Could be some more nonsense but made sense
