Blu-Flu-Jub Incoming!
Visited ADs in NY/NJ/CT for a couple of weeks and was told that even the DJ41 is not available to be ordered. I wanted the coveted blue stick-fluted-jubilee and most ADs said the chances of getting that configuration is pretty low due to the crazy demand. Nevertheless, I still persisted and kept calling around and one AD actually had it which a previous customer had ordered but backed out of. The guy was nice enough to take a deposit over the phone and hold it for me for pick up.
I was shocked that I called at the right time and the salesperson must’ve been in a good mood as I have no purchase history with them. I never thought buying a Rolex would be this much work, but it was definitely worth it!!! The luscious blue dial is truly amazing!   Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I find it funny that this particular configuration is now so hard to find. About a year ago I was in an AD and we were talking watches and he said he wanted to show me something. He goes over to the front wind and comes back with the blue DJ41 fluted bezel on the jubilee bracelet. He told me how hard this was to get and that it would be in demand. I figured it was a sales tactic. I have never been a datejust or jubilee fan. But I love Rolex blue. I put it on my wrist a few times took it back off. We talked for about an hour about the state of Rolex and in the end I said it just wasn’t for me and walked out.
Hopefully it went to someone that truly wanted it. But I did not see the demand coming.   Congrats on yours. Wear it and enjoy in good health!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

great watch, my favorite DJ too.
I don't think they are that hard to come by, and not that long of a wait if at all. I had one in the case at my AD last weekend.
