Tourneau gave my warranty card to someone else.
I purchased my Tudor blackbay GMT from Tourneau Waikiki in HONOLULU Months later there was an issue with the power reserve. I took my watch into Tourneau for warranty service. After about a month I got my watch back but was told they accidentally gave my warranty card to someone else. Since then it’s been about 4 months of them “trying” to track down the person that has my warranty card. Been given the same run around about how the person is traveling and I’m pretty much at my last straw.
Now, should I put in a complaint to corporate? Will they have to buy my watch back? Has this happened to anyone? Any feedback appreciated. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I'm sorry you're dealing with this. I don't have much to offer.
I just wanted to say I'm alarmed by the number of issues the BB GMT is having. |

Your watch should have a serial number, Based on that Tudor should be able to issue you a new card. I would call them directly and explain the situation. Good Luck .

The absolute worst stuff here seems to come from people who joined in 2018 and 2019. You fit in nicely.

Oh, he posted something similar in another thread. I wonder why he's all hot and bothered about Tudor today. With almost a thousand posts, he can't have only just accidentally discovered that this forum is pretty fond of Tudor. I guess he's having a bad day and wants some attention?

The black bay ETA was a superb watch I had one never missed a beat .. I then got a GMT ..had the date problem . Sent back come back and losing time.. As I say for me it was a Bad watch. I could venture back into tudor in the future but it would need to be something very special like a BB58 with a blue dial and bezel As for the OP needs to complain and get a new card otherwise he will lose value on his watch.. A new card is required as a set is a set |

Haha number 3 today. Do you walk around pointing out your Rolex to strangers? “Nice Seiko bro, ain’t no Rolex” - how does it work for you? Ladies lining up? Red carpets rolling out? |

The watch was sent to Tudor for warranty work and since I got it back it’s been keeping time flawlessly. Jus pissed about not having my warranty card. I’m pretty sure Tudor would not issue another warranty card.

I'd go over their heads and try to get in touch with corporate, if that's even possible.

i would contact rolex and tudor corporate. no point in wasting time with people who dont want to get into trouble. probably requires forms to fill out.

Against all odds here but, ...do your think you could ask them to make it right by exchanging your current watch for a new one with a warranty card? It’s cheaper than a lawsuit for them.

Agree, and to think the guy he commented on was telling the truth about the movement swaps. It’s been discussed at length in this forum over several threads. I believe SearChart (Bas) said it and he is an RSC watchmaker.

To answer your post, I'd do whatever it takes to get the card if you really want it. The longer you wait, the harder or less likely it'll be. |

This is what I’m hoping will happen. Best case scenario. I highly doubt they’re getting my warranty card back if it’s already been 4 months. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I’d sell them them on this and put it in a certified letter to the manager and whoever else, noting that the next step is possible litigation. |

Thats interesting. So basically any in house tudor movement is just getting a full movement swap if something is up? Are their expectations they will train people to eventually service parts in the new in house movements of like a bb58?
