disappeared.

wont respond to texts or calls.

did he steal my $$$?

PayPal as friends/family or normal payment? If you sent money as friends/family, there is no recourse. As a normal payment, you can file a dispute if seller does not ship or if item is not as described. Good luck.

They're on it. Simply click the exclamation under a member's avatar - for good reasons of course. Potential fraud accusations are good ones. Ensure the other party is a member here as well. (The mods aren't the web's watch transaction police.)

He's been banned for this. On further investigation I believe that he is operating from outside the country.

Whether the true owner of the account gave his password carelessly to the scammers who love this sort of thing, I don't know.
