They get allocations that result in profit for the AD but in reality the watch never hits the actual brick and mortar business as it is shipped directly to emerging markets. Everyone wins except for the consumers that were use to a decent selection. Why should Rolex be content with selling to fish that have already been caught, when there are billions of new fish that are hungry for the bait?

Any answer here with a number is really just conjecture and usually based on "my AD said."

My experience in a mid- to large market (Charlotte & Raleigh, NC). I’ve worked with two ADs - one single store and one that is largest chain in VA & Carolinas with 13 stores.

I was offered BLNR on jubilee from the single store It was the second they received and they are hopeful to get one more this year.

The larger chain store received a BLNR Jubilee about 2 weeks ago. It was also their second. All of the sales associates in 13 stores submitted their VIP clients to corporate and they selected the client to receive the BLNR. They have received more Pepsi’s over 2019 but she did not disclose the number. I did not inquire about Daytonas.

Interestingly, about a year and half ago I was in the larger chain store and they had a Hulk in the case. It was the first I had seen and it was available but I was not interested — I purchased my ND Sub instead.
