Rave????? When I was in college disco was dying on the vine [thank God!!] and punk was it!

I was a DJ for a time [probably before you were born

] but I got that part of it.

I remember seeing Sasha at Renaissance in the early 90's. Digweed too. Others like Carl Cox, Oakenfold, I remember a 6 hour Danny Rampling set on Boxing Day 1996 where he mixed techno, acid, house, classical and movie soundtracks throughout.

As for American guys...

Norm can rock it...I saw him at the Social. Like the big beat movement, The Chemical Brothers can also throw a decent event.

Not been to a Brighton gig but I'm sure Norm's neighbour and buddy Jdc can fill you in on it!!!!!!

Nowadays I'm too old and listen to old blues and folk but a little of the old "rave" blood still gets the heart pumping.
