Milgauss crysytal into Air King

Anyone ever put a green Milgauss crystal into an Air King 116900? I understand that they are the same case.

Should also do an AK dial in an MG GV for a SxS comparison.

It is a direct swap. I thought about it a few years ago but the green crystals were not cost effective to do the swap. Rolex will not sell you one directly and those that are for sale in the wild are usually over $1K. You would have to find an independent to swap the crystal and re-pressure test the case since Rolex will not do it.
I think it would look great with the green writing on the dial if you want to attempt it.

I think the main issue is that of cost as you point out, the green crystal being usually at least $1,000, but it just seems to me that the natural place for that crystal is on the Air King not the Milgauss. Now, if we could just see full lume on the A-K then we would have something.
