Would you trade a 116500 Daytona for?

Hi Guys,

Will like to hear your opinions , would you trade a white dial SS Daytona for the new WG 226659 YM plus some cash on my end of course, I've never been a fan of regular YM's but really liked this one when I tried it recently , great size and comfort and I'm a sucker for Glidelocks, I don't own any PM models and with the current prices of SS Daytona's I've been thinking about trading up to a PM model.

I also like the Everorse but find it too small , I like the combo of OF and black ceramic matte bezel .

Another option might be a an OF Daytona , I prefer WG since it's less bling and flies under the radar.

Thanks in advance for you comments.

If that’s what you want and the YM is what you like go for it regardless of others opinions!
I personally wouldn’t do it but that’s me!
Daytona is a much better watch with more history imho. You can always add the PM YM down the road but might never be able to get another white daytona

WG blue dial might be an option but YG might be too much for me , never owned a YG watch find it too flashy for my lifestyle.

I don’t understand trading a SS for WG, unless its a model you have to have and is only offered in WG, or it psychologically means more to you. The PM scratches easier, depreciates to a greater extent, and does not add any wrist presence beyond weight. Once the newness wears off that YM, it’s going to be easy to come by and will not trade at a premium. This means it will be an option for you down the track.

Glidelock is a great feature- but that’s a significant trade for a clasp feature.

I would not trade the 116500 for the 226659, but that’s opinion.

Not a fan of WG, so no I wouldnt trade. I do however think its a good time to trade a 500 series Daytona if its not a watch you love and you bought it at retail.
