I limit myself to 6...
I see all these posts of collections of 20+ watches, which is beautiful, pricy and way out of my reach, I limit myself to 6 watches and even that is too much honestly.
116610LN 16610 E Serial (1990) 114060 Omega Proplof Blancpain Fifty Fathoms 114300 White Dial Just wondering if others limit their collections as well? Sent from my LM-G820 using Tapatalk

So funny story with those, my 5 digit was away for a service I sold a PM piece and wanted another date sub so I snagged one up, shortly after went into the local AD, and they had a 114060 sitting in the case and it went home. Sadly I perfer the 5 digit date but the 6 digit no date is an amazing piece.

I would love to find a 5 digit GMT, a nice 36mm Date Just, or a 40mm Polar Explorer II. The 116610 will be sold/ traded eventually just doesnt get much wrist time. Sent from my LM-G820 using Tapatalk

Nice collection! After going through many phases of collecting, I’m good with a limit of 5 for now.

As a tech diver they are used for purposes. But yes my focus have always been divers, no need for Chronos etc...

6 for me as well. Over 30 years of spending far too much attention and $ on watches has demonstrated that I can’t wear more than that in any reasonable rotation where I don’t feel a bit odd for owning watches that are barely owned. But that’s just me. My brother has twice as many and has no such qualms.
Explorer BLNR Sinn 856 Moser Venturer Small Seconds Seiko SKX JLC Reverso Tribute Duoface With multiple straps and bracelets for the BLNR, Sinn, Seiko and even JLC...I don’t lack for options. That being said, I could probably get down to 3 without much difficulty (1 ss sport, 1 dress, 1 beater). Beyond that would require a rethink of why i wear watches at all and likely end up with just me and the Explorer. |

Wonderful collection. It’s obvious you know what you like.
I also keep the number low. Currently at 5. If I want another, my rule says, one has to go. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I too admire all the massive collections some of our more wealthy forum members are able to field. I find it both impressive, and overwhelming... and therefore will stick to a limited collection.
I was planning on 5, but 6 sounds like a nice even number AOW |

Loving the Fiddy Fathoms. Would love to get one someday. Would flip at least of one those subs into a GMT, if not two of them. Maybe even a seadweller?

Nice
6 is a good number. My box holds 8. I’ll never fill it. |

I let my collection balloon with some micro brands that were impulse buys. Currently trying to pare it back to 4 (ish), micros are fun, but it’s kinda hard to wear them when my ExpII is sitting there.

Lovely set! Clearly see a diver theme there.
Would also do the same with the 6 digit Submariners and get both versions. |

6/7 is a nice number
I’m up at 13, all of which I wear, and it really is an effort to decide what to wear I’ve taken to a steady rotation of one week per piece. At nights I’ll do a little swap for a couple hours when I get the urge I find one week is just enough to remember why you love wearing that piece but not so long that you forget about the others |

Ultimately I’d like to get down to 3 pieces that I enjoy wearing and will make all my memories with.
