Cancun pt. 1

Visited Cancun this past weekend with the wife; kids stayed home with the grandparents

Wore the Tudor, but that's for the Rolex discussion forum...just a beautiful city with amazingly nice people. We loved it!

Awesome pictures. My wife and I love to go on trips without the kids. We go almost every year, just the two of us. We are going back to Maui this October, I love Hawaii in the “fall”. As it starts to get cold in Indiana it’s nice to have a week of 80’s.

Looks awesome! My wife and I do the same, mostly travel with the kids, but carve out a couple weeks of us-time every year. Heading to Maui in a week to celebrate 11 years of marriage.

Looks amazing. My wife and I are on the other plan, bring the kids everywhere. They are 9 and 11 and they have travelled the world with us since they were 7mnths old. My way of thinking, and only because I have listened to the elders talk about it is, that the window of travelling with your kids is very small. Once they hit the teenage years and university, they are either to busy or have other interests and friends. Then, at that point you have countless hours and trips to take as a couple on your own. Making memories for that small window with the kids is my thing. But, do not mistaken me as not being over the moon happy for you guys! Enjoy the r and r

My boys are 4 and 2, and we take them places as well (just posted about Nashville with them here, and we're headed to Romania and a cruise next year with them)...but wife and I definitely take advantage of retired in-laws to enjoy our time together. My wife and have travel plans each month from here until next May, so definitely not taking the boys on every trip

Haha! They're definitely a handful, but the best things in the world...and the exact reason why we need actual vacations without them!!

My kids loved LEGOLAND every time we've gone. We probably rode Coastersaurus 10 times straight trying to get the perfect family pic. Hotel was really cool for the kids, breakfast buffet left a bit to be desired You guys are doing it right
