Unanticipated Incoming

I was at an AD on Saturday to pick up some gifts and my wife gravitated to the Bvlgari case and picked out a Serpenti. While she was debating which one she wanted my older daughter found a pair of ear rings so I just gravitated over to the Rolex case. They had a two tone Sea-Dweller in the case so I asked to try it on for size. I loved the size and thought it was a great watch. I love the Sea-Dweller and have a COMEX 16600. I have known the manager a long time and my wife is friends with the owner but I never really ask for anything on the ‘restricted’ list from them. So I asked the manager if they had a steel one to try. He looked over at the lady checking us out with a number of United’s, including my wife’s watch, and came out with a never handled SD-43. He said no pressure just play with it while we take care of everything else. Needless to say after holding it and trying it on my wife said to buy it! It is being shipped with my wife’s new acquisition to Florida and I will hopefully have it on by Saturday afternoon when I head out of town. Goes to show sometimes things are really available! You just have to spend on other stuff to open the magic safe
