Trade advice please

I have a Daytona 116509 with the steel and black dial which I really like and am getting a sub so I have something more rugged for holidays etc. My AD says he’ll have one for me by March.
I do like the sub a lot but I don’t have the biggest wrists and am tempted to go for a 5 digit Kermit to get the old case but maxi dial (No box/papers but wholly reputable dealer).

I can’t really justify paying the extra though so am thinking of trading my Daytona for an earlier version and have found one with the panda dial and arabics instead of batons (with box and papers).
So for the same cash outlay as a new sub (ND) I’d have a sub that I’d be slightly happier with and a Daytona that’s a bout 6 years older than mine. Is that a good trade?
