Forget the Hype and Value... Your favourite Rolex as The Everyday Rolex?
I am so tired of all this value speculation and hype around certain models...
The hype and Value aside: What is your favourite Rolex as The Everyday Rolex? Design, wearability and possible story behind? After all this personal roller coaster ride of mine with watches, these are the top three: The Datejust 41, TT, jubilee with champagne dial: The most comfortable bracelet which beats the Day-Date because of the easylink. The closest you can get (with larger modern Rolex) if you want to get close experiencing Dr. King’s Rolex-legacy. The history of the Datejust is the strongest in Rolex-line? Rolex GMT Master II, full gold: One of the most useful complications Rolex has to offer. The feel of full gold watch as its best? With the easylink it is possible to wear this gold chunk in summer also. The dial variations are more interesting when comparing to the steel GMT-line. The full rg might be the most beautiful, but is it suitable for a Real Man? Rolex Yacht-Master II: I know. Many do hate this watch. It is not hot, hyped or concidered as an investment... I like this model: great complication in a mechanical watch. Big watch that doesn’t wear big. You can truly feel the watch which hugs your wrist and has a character of its own. What would mr Wilsdorf think? What’s yours? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
