Greetings! Im new to Forum and could use help identifying my Grandfather's watch.

The watch is currently being serviced, and the person doing so called me up to to confirm that the numbers matched up and that it was in-fact original.
He stated that it was a 1952 model.
I can provide a link he sent me with some before pics. (they don't include serial numbers and the likes, but I could get those too).

Mi first concern, is the fact that the Dial does not say Swiss, or Swiss Made at the six o'clock.

Any help understanding the history behind it's background would be greatly appreciated.

Could a Radium era recall serviced model explain it's (confusing) origins?
