Rolex HQ has no idea who purchased the watch when it was originally sold. There is no owner registration. The warranty card swipe just tells Rolex the watch was sold and begins the warranty and maybe causes Rolex to ship another watch to the AD.


As mentioned, there is a new warranty card coming that does not have a space for the buyer's name. Only the purchase date.


RSC tracks the name of the person that sends in a watch for service.
