Couple of tips for the beginners (tips you won’t hear anywhere else on wearing your w
Hey guys so I just wanted to talk to you without the usual crowd listening in. This isn’t for them. It’s for you.
Over the past few years I have noticed a lot more people getting into high end watches and posting pictures here and elsewhere. Congratulations if you are one of them! I have also noticed what appears to be some confusion about where and how to wear the watch on the wrist. I write this post to help you if you are finding your watch experience to be less than comfortable. The key is your watch should be worn around the part of your arm with the smallest diameter. Like this: This is where the watch is supposed to sit. And it stays in place without being too tight. Now what I have started to see a lot of people do is wear the watch more on the back of their hand such that the crown of the watch (if worn on the left hand) invariably digs into the back of the hand like this: Also note that the watch is simply too tight. I’m not sure where the confusion came from. But since I noticed it I wanted to say something to help you get the most enjoyment out of your new watch. Give it a try and see what you think. You might like it. And if you do help your friends wear it the right way as well. All the best |
