Considering Unusual Trade
So I have in my modest collection a Patek Philippe Golden Ellipse with blue dial that is from the mid 1970s. I've been shopping it around a little exploring some trade possibilities, but I'm receiving either lowball offers or no interest at all. It appears the watch doesn't have the value I thought it had.
I do have an opportunity now to trade the Ellipse toward a white dial Rolex Milgauss from 2009 with box and papers from a reputable source. I have been searching for a white Milgauss and this one is in excellent condition. I will have to add about three thousand dollars to make the deal. I should add that the Ellipse is not my only Patek. I have a sport model as well that I have no interest in parting with. I realize this is ultimately my decision to make but thoughts would be appreciated. |
