Incoming! Polar Exp II

Like most people, I have been on a waitlist for awhile with my local AD. I purchased my first Rolex (OP39) from a different AD last year and that started my intrigue with other Rolex models, so I visited my local AD. I gave the SA my short list of a Polar Exp II and a GMT BLRO. I would occasionally stop in the store and chat with my SA about watches in general. He would give me insight about their stores policy on prioritizing in demand professional models. Basically sounded like I wasn’t getting anything any time soon. Then a couple of weeks ago, while I was out of town, I received a message from my SA asking if I was still wanted an Explorer II. I had my mind set to wait to see what happens next year with a 50th anniversary, but not knowing what, if any, changes Rolex may make I chose to go with the current model. I was finally able to pick this guy up today.

I have sea (SubC) and land (Exp II) covered. Just need to finish the trio with a BLRO for air.
