Incoming!!
I was at the AD today because my father in law wanted to try out some Rolex watches that my mother in law was going to gift him for his 60th birthday.
My plan was to go in with him and also put my name down for the new 124060 Submariner (hoping to get a call by next year). I arrived there first and asked if they had any sports models available. The lady initially said that most models were sold out and the glass display only had about 1-2 female watches. Fast forward 10 minutes, when both my mother in law and father in law arrived, they proceeded to bring out about 10 varieties of different Datejusts. We proceeded to ask about sports models, and the other male rep came out saying he might have a no-date submariner in the back. To my surprise, they brought one out fresh in the box. My father in law decided to put himself on the waitlist for a GMT and I proceeded to purchase the sub. Did I just get extremely lucky with purchasing the new sub no date without being waitlisted or is this model just not selling well enough? Either way, extremely excited about my impulse purchase today! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
