FSOT: Rolex Datejust 16220 Tropical B&P Military Provenance

For sale is a very unique Rolex Datejust Reference 16220 with 36mm case, sapphire crystal, steel.

Serial dates the watch to 2000

Excellent vintage condition case with sharp and even lugs. Appears unpolished.

Dial was originally silver and has aged to a crazy tropical color. No relume, no refinish. no scratches.

Bracelet is original Rolex Jubilee 62510H with very slight stretch from use.

Watch comes as a full set with all links and purchase documents. Sourced from the original owner in West Texas. He served his time in the US military for many many years and is now retired. He saved his money from 5 deployments to buy this watch in 2000. He sent the watch in servicing in 2018...they advised that he switch the dial for a fresh one and he asked to keep it (smart man).

Watch will come with a hand written note from the original owner.
