fakes..

Yesterday a sales rep came in at my mom’s biz and what was he wearing … after a good second look a 127.. however the dial looked blue to her , so after a chat she pointed out his watch and asked if that was the 1950 Panerai (my poor mom is stuck between me and my Dad talking Pam constantly so there is little she does not know anymore..) however she asked that the blue dial seemed odd, however he explained that it was not the real deal and that the anti reflective coating made it appear blue.
He had actually bought it off a jeweller shop in Holland ... and he said it carried a Valjoux Calibre, he also owned a replica Flyback, purchased off the same Jeweller, mind you this is in Holland I understand that these are for sale over the web etc, but at an actual Jeweller .. that seems rather odd……
