DD vs DDII

I went to the Century City Tourneau and tried on both models. The DD was as beautiful as ever. It was a whole lot heavier than my SS Datejust, I like that. What stood out was the sharp edges. I know I wouldn't cut myself on them, but I kind of wish Rolex would soften the edges a bit. The DDII did not endear itself to me at all. It just didn't seem like a Rolex: I guess it just hasn't entered into my Rolex lexicon yet. It's too large and strangely enough, the bracelet was smaller than the DD. Anyway, I'll continue to hold a spot in my heart for the YG Day Date!
