Option 5: wear watch. Enjoy. Reset once a week (if you are wearing it every day), or as needed.

You will be more mad if you damage the caseback or movement with your tinkering. The watch is in spec. Enjoy it for what it is. I have a large collection and need to wind/reset my watch almost every time I put one on… it’s a non issue. Take the 30 seconds to set or reset the watch. Might be good for you.
