Service in the Sacramento, California area
So I looked up a few watchmakers local to my area of Sacramento who are able to service Rolex. I'm not surprised to learn that they're all not created equal as one watchmaker quoted me about half the cost as another watchmaker that's in another part of town.
What kind of surprised me though was the turn around times for both watchmakers. I won't mention the names of either watchmaker or the exact prices they quoted me, but one insisted that he can complete the service in just 3 days while the other quoted me 3 weeks to service the same watch. The one who said he can get it done in 3 days also gave the quote that was far less than the person who said they can get it done in 3 weeks. My question is, should I avoid the person who can get the service done in just 3 days? Would it be wise to trust someone who can do a complete overhaul that quickly? Also to anyone who lives in Northern California, who would you recommend for a watch service in the Sacramento area?
