Yes another Rolex Polishing question
hello TRF,
I have read many thread on here about polishing Rolex but non seemed to really answer the questions I have. So here is the question: I want to know if anyone knows exactly what type of compounds, rouge, and wheels Rolex uses. Reason I ask is because I am somewhat an expert in steel watch polishing and even laser welding but no so much when it comes to rolex. Iam having a hard time getting that mirror finish that RSC gets. I can do it no problem on any other steel case wether 904L or 316L but not Rolex, and I will assume it has to do with the special blend 904L steel Rolex uses, so Iam sure they are using special compounds. Iam not looking for standard compunds you can buy anywhere like dialux or fabuluster etc. These are NOT doing the job. and please dont recommend cape cod, hoping there are some pros on here that can answer this. thanks in advance. |
