Thinking about trading Datographs

The datograph is my grail. Some years ago I acquired a Rose Gold Datograph up/down and it's been wonderful.

However, while I do wear it, I often don't because the watch has a massive presence, particularly in Rose Gold, and tbh that is not really my style.

I've been considering trading into a Pt Datograph 39mm, the original. But I am still a bit on the fence.

The RG up/down is very comfortable. I am worried the Pt 39mm will be less so and thus I will have less desire to wear it more often, despite it's versatility over the RG.

Also, no matter what Dato I go with, I plan to stick with the tang buckle, which I much prefer functionally. However, I know many believe a deployant is needed for the 39mm Pt to balance the weight. I won't be going that route.

Anyone have experience or advice on this trade? And before you say it, owning both is out of the question :-)
