ok (JJ flamesuit on), let see your RADO watches!
firstly, thought about posting this at other watches section but then it will probably missed by most people, so this should be a better place.
Secondly, to date I see no issues with owning a Rado watch. But totally understanding where JJ is coming from with his anti-love for any Rado watches. For me the same goes for any Tag watche. Even though I have an early 1990s version but I will not pay attention to any of them at the AD windows. The reason for it is because my wife totally dislikes them. Apparently most Greeks would give thief kid Tag watches when they finish school or get married. My sis in law got given a Tag when she finished school but my wife got given her first Omega seamaster instead. All her friends had at least a Tag so far. Same can be said for us Chinese, the parents usually gives us either Omegas or Rolex for one of these "major" acievements. FYI I got given no watches so far apart from a all gold omega my dad gave me when I was in primary school, but that didnt count because I had no knowledge of watches at that stage and all I wanted at the time was a casio calculator watch- which I diet get, cos mum thought it was cheating using it. Anyway, back to the thread, let's show your Rado watch(es). Don't be shy. Personally I do like and enjoy wearing my Sintra Australian Open Limited Edition chrono. I will not object to get another Rado in the future. Posting from an iPod so will post some pix when I get on the laptop. /me runs....... |
