Let me explain something, keep in mind English is a third language to me, hope I can get my thoughts over correctly.

I am far from sensitive and frequent car forums too but I do not even bother posting pictures of my car there as I know for a fact it will end in knocking the car or/and wheels down. I find car forums in general are made of people who find it is necessary to complain about everything. (design of a new car, lack of performance of a new car, options, price , etc.) I was an active member of one of the biggest English written Porsche forums but just couldn't take all the negative anymore.

These forums and its core members are TOTALY different and here one is polite and friendly like most people would be in real live. I would never dream of speaking the way you spoke to me if somebody showed me his new ride (or anything else for that matter). If he would specifically have asked me my thoughts I would not even use words like 'floats your boat' and 'rock your world'. In this case I am not looking for negative feedback, I am like a little boy who is extatic with his new toy and wants to share it with friends on the forum. Nothing more, nothing less.

I have no problem you (and others) not liking the car or wheels. Really not.
But please let me be happy with what I like , okay ?
You have summed up perfectly what makes this forum unique. It's about applauding and routing for everyone else, and whatever makes them happy.

Enjoy your new ride! I had the chance to drive the hardtop S5, and it's magnificent. I'm sure the convertible is even more fun!
