Rolex time set CW/CCW based on caliber

Crown direction varies in time setting with caliber of the Rolex reference.

The early 15XX series were CCW while the 31XX calibers were CW.

There is an excellent chart featured in Caliber Corner that indicates the specific Rolex caliber and whether the watch reference by caliber crown sets clockwise or counter-clockwise.

Important for those of us who have Rolex watches from different eras
including vintage or discontinued references.
This subject surfaced some years back and Larry made an excellent observation
on the changing of crown direction with caliber series by Rolex.
