Agreed. There is a symmetry in the asymmetrical 5712, unlike the 5822p.

And now that you mentioned it, I can’t unsee the open space in the lower left corner, and how squished to the middle the day / moon phase sub-dial is.

The complication is interesting, though. I hope it gets rolled out on other references.
